I want _____ to show up so I can be down to a single major spoiler. Especially since I don't know the CONTEXT of _______. I know the context of the other one so I don't give that much of a shit about it. But this one is gnawing at me |
What was the other one? |
Aegon Targeryn is alive, possibly. |
Ooooh that.
Yeah, I have no idea when they'll start on that. I could see it being next season if they really wanted to just sneak it in early and I can think of ways to start trickling it in, but... I don't even know. If they pace well and actually use more shit they left out from the books, they could leave it until the season after or maybe even later if they fuck around some. |
Before this previous season, I would've said that I didn't think it could be done well considering how little the show reminds the viewer about the Targaryan dynasty, but given their treatment of Oberyn's conflict, I think they could do a good job, particularly if they use Maester Aemon as a method of delivering exposition about Aegon strategically. |
I still think Jon Connington is gonna get jobbed by the show though. Whether they give him "The Full Belwas" is to be seen. |
Yeah.
Between Aemon, House Martell stuff, and even others if they wanted, I think there're plenty of chances to tell viewers what happened in the past. I could see Bran getting glimpses of stuff, people bringing up Robert's Rebellion's history and reminding everyone about Lyanna's existence and role (I could see Cersei doing that and/or Arys Oakheart if they let him exist and bring in the Myrcella plan), Dany asking more about her family, etc. They could drag it out for a while and deliver it in bits instead of just one long infodump. Theme the whole season around that shit and then drop in the Young Griff reveal. |

True. It's probably a bad idea, but ...
Maybe they'll have a prequel season where we can see Dunk and Egg stuff and Robert's Rebellion and other fun prequel-y things. Probably not though and for good reason. :P |

It was good! Definitely overhyped by D&D tho (: I think Mountain and the Viper was definitely the best of the season though the ending may be overshadowing the rest for me
It's so weird that THE CHILDREN are in the same show as all the political maneuvering at King's Landing. They seem like completely different worlds
Tywin and the Hound were huuuge losses. I hope they have some good characters coming next season, but I don't think anything can really replace them. I'm excited to see where Tyrion and Arya's plots go from here though
The Hound vs. Brienne was awesome though and gave him a great send-off. Tywin's death...not so much! It was good, but with so little time spent in King's Landing this episode, AND the one episode layoff from seeing anything from the trial made it seem not nearly as impacting as it should've
And I actually assumed ____ ______ was the fire-shooting girl we saw (: I GUESS NOT!!

Seriously! I didn't even realize he was being stabbed because he was hardly reacting in those like two seconds.

I loved Varys being all "fuck this shit" when the bells rang.
Wonder where they are going to take this now.
