I beat the final airship battle on my first try too. Not sure what my strategy was outside of using Songbird sparingly on only the biggest gunships and running around all over the place but it worked

Skip Clash in the Clouds for sure. It's basically just a shoot-em-up mini-game

Burial at Sea has an actual plot and I thought was really good for a DLC. It actually works as a bridge between Infinite and the original so I'm not sure if I would've appreciated it more if I had played the original first
