I had a dream that Lester was having sex with this lady at my workplace and she was covered in boils and he started poking at them and these alien creatures shot out, escaped the television and chased me around town.
oh men, this show is soooo good! we watched both seasons within 2 weeks or so (for the time we have when the little troublemaker sleeps, it was like binge-watching to us, lel)
I know, we're late to the party but that's okay really because we only had like a month wait for season 3, which we're super excited about
the characters, so many well written and played! I loved b.b. thornton as the devil, or that black dude, mike milligan. I was hanging on their lips, if that saying means something to you.
best show since breaking bad and better call saul!
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
For some reason I had a really hard time getting into it at first but it's gotten very good.
Thoughts up to E4

I just finished the part where Bulo's crew was massacred and his head got sent in a box. So far I'm loving it and I'm intrigued to see how Plemons/Dunst are going to land in the middle of all of this.
Mike Milligan is the best part of the season so far for me, I love every scene he's in.
Finale felt a little... flat to me, I must admit. Dialogue was very good and the chase scene in the grocery store was great. I loved the twist that Hanzee wasn't ever actually there and Ed probably could have been saved, really sad end to his character. I also thought the ending to Milligan was perfect. Pleasantly surprised he lived in the end.
Hanzee's ending... ugh. I like the idea of WHERE they were going with it. But I'm not crazy about it. I couldn't even remember the guy he ended up actually being, I had to look him up and I barely remember him at all. The funny thing is throughout the whole season, I was wondering how a seemingly impossible showdown between Lorne and Hanzee might go. Turns out it actually happened and was... less than impressive?
The penultimate episode was fantastic. Didn't like the UFO part at all, but other than that the intensity and build-up was great.
Ultimately I think I did enjoy this season a lot more than the first, main reason being that I liked the characters way, way more.
The crime itself wasn't quite as interesting as previous seasons, but the characters seem as great as ever. Kind of weird not having a Malvo/Hanzee/Milligan type villain but that could still be to come
Winstead kinda stole the show, seems like that'll be a really fun character
Not even sure what happened to the grandpa tbh?? Am I blind and missed it? I was looking for some type of wound but it looked like he was just duct taped to the chair
shoutout to Eden Prairie ayy! I lived there for a summer
Wondering if that opening scene (which felt really Tarantino-esque) will tie into the season at all or was just kind of a thesis statement. Assuming the latter? Only way I could see it tying in at all is if that state official had to do with the Narwhal(?) investors
Also dunno wtf the significance was of the Police Chief finding that the comic book cover matched the carving. p intriguing
