As long as there's a phase in progress you literally always can. The shop is always open to everyone, all you have to do is say what you want to buy in the game thread. You can do this as soon as the next one is up since this day is over

How is shared gold not just an accumulation of the party gold? I am trying to understand this and it makes no sense to me. It feels like gold is being counted twice

there is one number that is a total of your party's gold, and the other number is a total of your party's gold but also with your party's total added in!

There are two main things that can happen from a challenge. Either you personally get some gold, or your party collectively gets some gold which goes into your party gold

The breakdown Spin has is correct. And those two numbers can never equal each other

I have to have one number for your parties gold pot and your COLLECTIVE pot, because results during a phase effect just your party pot

For example if you guys all choose something as a crew and the result is that your party gold is HALVED, then I take that away from the first number but I dont cut your COLLECTIVE gold in half, that would be way way more

Think of it this way. Each of your group members has their own savings account. This is your individual gold. Then, your group shares a joint checking account (party gold). Your groups total wealth (i.e. gold) is the combination of the three individual savings accounts PLUS the group checking account.

I have 1 Gold, you have 2 Gold

We find 5 gold together but we cant split 5 Gold even so we just keep it in a shared bag as we travel together as a happy party

Together we have 8 gold

i feel like there is a collective trick being played on me. Not one of your explanations is making a bit of sense to me

some choices are individual and some pertain to the team as a whole
the individual choices will only affect ur individual gold
the team choices will affect the shared gold
