I've actually seen a lot of people in the Alt-left on twitter start speaking out against the first amendment if it means that these Alt-right people are allowed to like have free speech and assemble and whatnot

That's true. I don't really know what Alt-Left means tbh. But I also don't really know what "Alt-Right" means and I think it's a pretty dumb term.

I got the impression they were Far-Left activists, the right seem to lump them into this Alt-Left thing tho.

Things being described as Alt-Left or Alt-Right has made things very confusing.

Antifa isn't made up of kitties and bunnies. They use fascism to fight fascism. (Prevent people from speaking by being loud and disruptive, employing physical intimidation, and outright premeditated violence).

The Alt righters included skinheads, klansmen and other unsavory fascist hate groups..

So you had 2 opposing violent groups advertising that they would be in the same place at the same time, and the police shit the bed.



Our current laws do not protect the right to incite people to violence. ie: the Neo-Nazis can be arrested as soon as a speaker gets up there and tells them to kill or commit violent acts. As long as they don't do that, I'm still for protecting their right to free speech. They are still deplorable shitheads, and wrong about everything, but they have the right to share their idiotic views. I feel the same way about all of the extreme groups. (Right wingers, extreme lefties, eco-nuts, radical islam, CF clinic bombers, etc...) They all have the right to spew crazy shit publicly as long as their message doesn't incite.

Free speech is such a cornerstone right, and I think protacting it is very important..

Though the folks billing antifa that way tend to refer to stuff like Milo not being able to speak at Berkley, ignoring the fact that Milo is a professional agitator who worked to get an invite specifically to rile up people and have this sort of thing happen, only to have a lot of attention focused on him and wow- his book sales went up!

Milo is like the gay libertarian version of the WBC. The fact that antifa fell for his troll game in the first place is the problem.

Yup, he came out of it as a martyr. Now he has his own news page/site and I always see a bunch of my FB friends sharing his BS content, his business has definitely went up and it only helped his brand.

Yeah Milo played them, but internationally they are all over the news with their tactics and antics.
