This is hilarious. A great representation of the show becoming more spectacle than story over the years. The dialogue recently was so bad, no great conversations or monologues like the earlier seasons. It's like they became afraid to write dialogue for certain characters because they were so bad at it

Yeah one of my favorite parts about this last season is that not only was it lacking in good dialogue, but they'd constantly CUT AWAY from scenes whenever they were about to get into deep/complex territory |
Jon revealing his lineage to his siblings, Tyrion asking Bran about his story (would've been pretty good to see this one in particular if they were gonna, y'know, have Tyrion be the main reason he gets 'elected'), etc. Or if it wasn't that it'd be some offscreen character conveniently interrupting to stop the conversation in its tracks |

The series finale has the second fewest words spoken in the entire series. Now THAT’s how you wrap up 55 characters!

"I was determined to be cool about the end and decided that when people came up to me and said, 'Are you Jon Snow?' that I would say very calmly, 'I used to be,'" he said of his plans for fan interactions after wrapping season eight of the series. "When I left the set for the final time, I was very emotional, and when a girl came up to me and asked the inevitable question, I broke down and cried, 'I used to be!' She backed off pretty quickly!"

Were you unspoiled on most of the main twists? The feeling during those first few blindsides that you didn't see coming is second to none | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I rewatched this with a friend recently (who'd never seen it and somehow only had the Red Wedding spoiled for him, and even then only partially) and boi o boi do those early seasons still slap. Late show Tyrion really made me forget just how great he was in King's Landing
Gotta say 7/8 really don't get any better on rewatch, and even though 4 is still great you CAN see the cracks start to show there

Did they ever release Game of Thrones Full Series (S1 - S8) on Bluray?
I don't remember if it was ever released.

I read the books, but was able to keep from any show spoilers, so it’s been really fun to watch. Some twists which were still unexpected, but even the stuff I knew was coming has been fun since it’s so visual - comparing to how I pictured things in my head lol
