Watched Grudge match last week with Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone and it was much better than I thought it would be. It was pretty funny Kevin Hart was in it which I didn't know
I'm watching Life with Father and it's about this Wall Street financier's family and one subplot's about how he never got baptized (and he keeps refusing to get baptized because he thinks it's silly) and his wife's like "I don't know if we're even married!" and now one of their kids is antagonizing the other by saying their dad's going to hell.
Now his wife's sick and I'm pretty sure she's gonna die unless he gets baptized, in which case she'll make a miraculous recovery. He also still refuses to kneel in prayer.
Oh and the oldest son is in love with his cousin. There was a little subplot between them about how her family's Methodist and his is Episcopalian (they found out while practicing music together) and I was like "I don't even know how those sects differ."
I felt like watching intense courtroom dramas, so I rewatched "JFK", "A few good men" and "A time to kill" - good shit!
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
Today I watched a 1968 film called The Name of the Game Is Kill. On the cover, it says "You can't buy a ticket to see this movie unless you sign a pledge not to reveal the surprise shock ending." I'm not allowed to spoil the film :( but it was surprising and shocking.
Last movie I watched was the Merry Widow, an Ernst Lubitsch musical. Really lovely, funny stuff, even though the primitive sound of early TALKIES means that most of the actual lyrics are impossible to make out.
22 Jump Street. It was gud! If you liked the first one you'll like this one too since it's mostly more of the same (and even pokes a lot of fun at that fact). I loved all the meta jokes they put in there

I watched Fruitvale Station last night. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. It is based on a true story I'm sure some of you may even know the story. Pretty sad movie but it was wicked good. Michael B Jordan is in. Highly recommended to watch.
Recently watched Rob The Mob starring Michael Pitt, Andy Garcia, Ray Romano. It was pretty good and it's based on the true story of Tommy and Rosie Uva, who were considered a modern day Bonnie and Clyde.
