I didn't hate 4 but I'm not excited enough about this one to want to pay for it (not that I paid for any of them when I saw them, but that's beside the point)

my dad: "don't fucking stand behind me with a lit cigarette and a fucking saw while I'm right above you on a slippery incline trying to help you. Just let me help you by doing this while you do something else. Anything else. Please."

my aunt: "please don't come an hour early to every party, i know you want to help but i can't walk well and stop fast enough when you get in my way and we'll both end up hurt. Just come over later, closer to when dinner starts, that way i can do what i have to."

my uncle: "listen i'll paint your bathroom but there's only room for one person on a ladder in here and could you at least not smoke around fresh paint?"

me: "I will help you in a few minutes, but i need to finish this first. I am bad at switching gears. Then I'll help. Also please just let me do it and stay away. In fact, give me a day, leave the house and I'll do everything. But i'm not dropping everything this second. Remember when pa used to do that to you?? it sucks don't do it."

my cousin: "We can help out with whatever you need, but we both work full shifts and have 2 children under the age of 10, so we need a few days warning. Also please don't hover while we help. You get in our way. And don't smoke in front of the kids holy shit Landon is only 3."
