I'm playing Watch Dogs and it's very meh. Maybe I just need to give it time and I'll warm up to it. I tend to quit a lot of games only to play them again later and have a good time with them.

I just got an Xbox One from ebay with Battlefield 4 and Titanfall despite owning both of those games on Origin already. I mostly got it for Halo 5 and whatever other exclusives come out. I now have Wii U, PS4, Xbox One and PC, no game in the future can escape me!

A new free DLC has been released for State of Decay called Lifeline, which is apparently an entirely new story and map. Downloading now, very excited!

I just watched the trailer after not bothering to last time and apparently it's going to be in the middle of a big-ass city with skyscrapers and cars all over the place. You're also playing primarily as soldiers to start off with, but you'll be rescuing civilians into your group along the way which I assume will be playable like the original game. I liked the first map, but it was filled with mostly barren fields and farm lands with only a couple of towns scattered around. Full blown metropolis with the State of Decay engine... very intrigued about this! This should hopefully mean that depleting the entire area of resources would take ages to do.

I played Rift today because I remembered liking it during open beta and forgot that it went f2p like last year.

I liked the little bit of Rift I played too. Though I like Guild Wars 2 better.

I've warmed up to Watch Dogs and I'm liking it outside of graphics related stuff and some of the physics.

Weird. A copy of Dead Island Epidemic showed up in my inventory in steam. Didn't have any information on why I got it, if it was a gift or if steam's up to something. Anyone else get it?

I got one as well. From what I can tell its an open beta key.

Yeah this one stands out more than the first DLC from the trailer. You mentioned free...did you download some sort of season pass at some point? I just went in to take a look and it's $6.99

Nah, I think I accessed something I wasn't supposed to. When I downloaded it, it went from 1% to 99% within a few seconds. And it didn't show up in my library at all. I just saw the trailer in the Games section and searched for it with the bar rather than going through the browse menus. You could find it by searching for some reason, but couldn't in the regular menus. Didn't realize it wasn't released yet until later.

Also, Dark Souls is a great Free w/ Gold feature after the shit they've been releasing for it lately. Never played it, but I've heard really great things about that series. Also heard it's ridiculously hard and considering i'm terrible at video games, that should be much fun.

Jesus. Played for about a half hour and my entire squad died pretty quickly after I ran out of ammo. It's definitely a lot harder in a city since they just keep fucking coming. Usually I play a little bit more stealth in the base game, I guess I got cocky being military.

Despite utterly failing, I like it so far. The new military-inspired vehicles are great. Being able to throw supplies in the back of trucks is extremely handy so you don't have to make the same trip several times to pick up supplies you can't carry. And I really like the new map.
