Triangle

A strange mystery/thriller. Found it on a list of "the best thrillers you've probably never seen". The concept is really cool, but I can only say that I think I understand what was going on. Not entirely convinced I do. Some people go out on a yacht, get caught up in a violent storm and wind up boarding a cruise ship that passes by their wreckage. Anything else would be spoiler, and since I think it was definitely worth a watch I won't spoiler it up.

Watched this sometime last year after reading about it on a similar list. I liked it a lot, especially the ending

If you liked it you would probably like (tagging it because the comparison spoils Triangle (: )

Godzilla and Amazing Spider Man 2, I enjoyed them both :) Of the two I liked Godzilla better, but I was very tired part way through Spider Man and might have missed some parts here and there.
A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.

Dead End

A family experiences some weird shit on a back road while traveling for Christmas after the father decides to take a shortcut for the first time in two decades. It had pretty good reviews for a horror movie and I found it on the same list I found Triangle. It wasn't bad, and it was rather funny at times which I always enjoy, but it was unfortunately pretty predictable. Apparently had some intentional nods to David Lynch in it, and used an actor from Twin Peaks, but I didn't even notice most of them except for the nod to Lost Highway.

Took me a bit to find a copy of Timecrimes, but I did and am planning on watching it tonight.

The Hunt

Pretty good! Had some really powerfully acted scenes

It's on Netflix streaming btw. Definitely worth a watch I'd say. And it's best if you don't read anything about it going into it

The Town starring Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm, and Blake Lively. Based on the novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, which I had previously read, and the reason I watched this movie. A little bit different from the book, but I enjoyed it.

I watched Hell Baby last night, which sits in that genre that the Scary Movie films do but it's better than the most recent ones. I wouldn't mind seeing more like it, though I feel like it could've done without the toilet humor bits. They just seemed tacked on for no useful reason.

I saw that on Encore or one of those movie channels not that long ago. I definitely liked it. I loved the scene with the stoned cable guy getting in his van and driving off up the road at like 2 mph, pushing a garbage can the whole way.

I was invited to a free screening of the new Adam Sandler film, Blended, and I went. I know, my first mistake. Better than Jack and Jill, that hairdresser movie, but nowhere as good as 50 First Dates. It was funny but the crude humor was alienating for me. It was worth the money but not a cent more. ;)

I had wanted to see this. I'm glad you posted, I'll probably wait to rent it.
