I started Dishonored last night (I'm surprised as how well it runs on my laptop) and I spent like five minutes watching a rat run around because it was so cute.

The only downside to getting the Xbox One last month is that I have made no progress on my backlog or on Uncharted 3 which I was in the middle of. I've been playing Titanfall, BF4, Forza, and Fifa a lot. I don't want to start AC4 until I beat Uncharted 3 on PS3, but I don't want to play Uncharted or PS3 when I have a new Xbox One sitting here.

I am enjoying Tropico 5 and Dishonored (I decided to aim for a low-mid chaos run for my first playthrough and we'll see how well that works out). I'll probably leave Tomb Raider sitting unplayed for months again.

FINISHED
|
I had actually watched a video of that ending (saved little sisters) a while back for some reason. Still great though
The "Would you kindly?" twist was great. Despite knowing that there was SOMETHING up with that phrase due to playing Burial at Sea, I had no idea what it actually did. So the explanation was still a big surprise and was really cool.
I feel like Fontaine was kinda a lame villain compared to Ryan though. Ryan's character and death were amazing, but Fontaine was just...eh. Kinda just a cliche cackling villain. And he looked a bit silly in the final battle (which actually was incredibly easy compared to the fukn zeppelin battle in Infinite)
Now I wanna replay Burial at Sea at some point. I'm sure there's a lot more I'd pick up now. And is it bad that in some ways I preferred BaS to this? (: The opening and ending of BaS: Ep. 2 I feel like were better than anything in this game save for the scene in Ryan's office |

I'm getting better at choking out enemies and using sleep darts in Dishonored but I'm still probably gonna end up killing more guards than I planned.

Finished Saints Row 4 last night.
Pretty fun! I actually really enjoyed the story despite wanting to go into it hating it. I wasn't crazy about the whole aliens thing, but the classic SR humor reeled me in pretty quickly. All the callbacks to the previous three games was really cool too, especially the Saints Row 2 references with Fun Shaundi and Veteran Child. The super powers made the game ridiculously easy though, I died maybe twice in the entire playthrough. |

THE STANLEY PARABLE.
Bought it a while back and decided I needed to play some of these indie games I got out of pity during sales. So far it's the only one that really stood up, though thats probably because I just like FPS style way more than sidescrollers.
Anyway, it's not exactly a GAME, doesn't really have a lot of content overall (I was really hoping for a few move divergences than what there were), and its pretty short. I do not recommend it at even close to the default price, but if it goes on sale, consider it!
It was very entertaining and the kind of overly meta bullshit that I love but a lotof people might just find it dumb.
It would be nothing at all without the awesome voice acting though. And the Narrator is the closest I've found to the voice in my head every time I read a Russell Stansfield post in ATTWS IV. Still not QUITE it though. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

I watched a full gameplay video of it that was like a half hour long after Drr's post. I now have no reason to ever play it. :( |

Idunno if you could do all the endings in a half hour. |
Confusion ending is like 18 minutes on its own and

The broom closet part lasts a while too if you listen to it all |

Though I'm slow because I like to listen to all of the dialogue.

I just finished Max Payne 3.
Very short considering I played for 3-4 hours last night and 3-4 hours today iirc. I guess that's not a big issue though since I got it super cheap and there's actually plenty of content if I want to delve into it more. Tons of collectibles, a supposedly amazing multiplayer, etc. The story is probably a good length as it feels like an interactive movie of sorts, kind of like Uncharted and The Last of Us in that sense, though those games are pretty long.
This game is DAMN good, I can't believe I've had it sitting in my steam library for so long unplayed. I just installed it the other day for the hell of it while I was playing Far Cry 3.
I missed some collectibles and played on easy but I'm not the type that goes back for everything and tries to get all of the achievements. I just want to experience the game and for me Max Payne 3 was certainly an experience. They took a lot of stuff from this game and used it in GTA V.
I never played the first two and know there's some haters out there that think this one diverged from the tone of the originals too much but I loved it outside of a bit of repetitiveness with some of the themes and visuals.
For super competitive people out there, outside of the main multiplayer you can play the story in "arcade" mode where you either finish chapters with the fastest time or rack up the most points from kills and stuff.
Haven't tried multiplayer or any of the DLC I got yet but I might give it a go, though Watch Dogs might be delivered tomorrow so I'll end up playing that. | A survivor becomes a leader...
