About the cancer story? The post-death entry makes me think there's more to it. Maybe I'm over thinking it. It said "do you understand?" Understand what? I get that it was made after the mother died so that alone is SPOOKED but... what did the entry itself mean? Maybe it was just a meta statement poking at the reader.

The one with the cancer diary still feels iffy to me based on the guesses I've read in here. I mean I agree with Malion's answer to it - but I feel like there's something more there. Why "do you understand?"

The author didn't have much original phrases left?

They could have written something about pointing or "I'll do it in the morning" again.

I think she says that death will not separate them
and that she will never let him go.
And after she's dead she asks if he understands.
Meaning she's a ghost haunting him I assume.

This reminded me of a topic I saw on reddit one day. It was about the scariest short story you'd ever read. My favorite one I saw in there went something like this:

A child playing upstairs heard his mother call him down for lunch. On his way to the kitchen he was pulled into the cupboard under the stairs, a hand placed over his mouth. "Shh, I heard it too. That's not me." The voice of his mother whispered from the darkness.

I remember that one. Creepy, but it didn't give me a chill.

Definitely won the award for the shortest scary story though, IIRC.

I'm starting to think that the part the dead wife speaks about is towards the baby, not his husband (my life with you is about to start), with that and what the father said about how he didn't know what he'd do without his kid, maybe she plans on taking him too?

Actually I think it is, but I remembered the thing Malion posted as being the top post.

I remember this from sometime ago, don't know where I've read it (or even if it was in spanish or english):

"You're on your house, all alone in the middle of the night when you hear a fart. Do you laugh or do you run?"

I laugh because I don't want to fall off the roof and break my back.
