I'm in a melancholic funk tonight (I've been having a very difficult year). Been trailblazing through a lot of sad songs because there's something cathartic about releasing pent up emotion. There were a few stirrings with some earlier tracks but this finally got me good.

I didn't realise that the Beck song was even a cover until just now and Googling. Feel pretty silly considering it's my favourite movie! Not sure I prefer the original though. It doesn't have the deep sadness of the Beck version:



It's still haunting in its own way, just not so much.
