No idea why you are confused, as that's exactly what I'm pointing out. I called him on his attempt to distract town, he ignored it, I asked again, and he answered it, sort of. It was his insistence that the two kill types were both mafia (while also not being mafia) that had my scummier piqued. I'd likely invite unvote him for his most recent change-of-heart posts, but I'm not sure where the vote count stands, and I don't want to put myself into a tie, or the lead, by inviting herm. I am much more confident in my alignment as town than I am Herm's at the moment. :)

He admitted to being roleblocked though, and he was on the same lynch train that got Gmaj lynched with known mafia scum Canuck. I'm having my doubts, but it'd be good if he could show up today and contribute.

i spoke up right away when i was blocked. im trying to figure out who i think is scum, but its difficult. i think there are no more then 2 mafia left, but we do seem to still have 3rd party. if the flavor does mean something then i agree with the general consensus of SKiT.

back in the signup thread there was this post that makes me think the dogs dont have to be town

ftr I wasn't saying wanting Redster lynched cleared me in any way, I was responding to Beaver calling me useless this game. Which is true! But I was pointing out that at least despite my limited time I was able to see that Redster was obvscum which Beaver failed to do

I don't see this tide changing on anyone else. Herm has majority of the votes and says he won't be back until the day ends. Doesn't even offer a role claim. Is basically the top lynch target and he isn't gonna fight it b4 he sleeps?

just went back and read Herm's posts and he does seem oddly calm about it all. I dunno what to make of that really, but I think it might be more likely that he's scum trying to look like he's keeping a cool head about it. Otherwise I dunno why he wouldn't be fighting harder

With that said tho why would you lynch someone BECAUSE they're not gonna be back to claim? That...almost never works out well

He isn't my top choice since he has contributed a lot today (tho what does that rly mean) but we have to get 8 votes on someone and it struck me odd that he stated he would not be back by the deadline....already knowing he had votes piled on him.

Why do you think we need to get the full 8 voted to lynch someone today? We haven't needed to hit the lynch number yet, as plurality has been in effect. Have the mods taken it away and I missed the announcement?

This is so dumb. Me trying to push for a lynch on Redster when it was between me and him would have looked self serving and I would have been called scummy for that too. When its clear that scum is going to be lynched there is no reason to rock the boat and potentially derail things.

I'm not sure what faction of 'obvscum' you think I belong to, but I was an early lynch on Vern who flipped mafia (the only time we've succesfully lynched mafia) so I'd assume you're thinking I'm some form of third party? It's confirmed by FC that I am unblockable so I have no clue what role you suspect me of being.

I've already claimed my role but if you have a plausible explanation for why you think I was lying, then feel free to share your speculation instead of trying to make vague assertions that throw unwarranted shade at me.

This Herm lynch doesn't feel like the right course of action to me. Some of his theories have been a little off but he's been putting himself out there in a major way and I kinda doubt he'd be doing that if he were scum. It's a lot easier to lay low in that position so I feel in my gut that its unlikely he's scum.

I'd rather lynch someone like Henry, who has felt the need to constantly remind us of his lynch record while no one has truly been applying pressure to him. Or Boc, who has yet to really do anything that helps except throw out an offhand FOS at me without tangible reasons.

I'm aware that this may look like OMGUS but at the moment Boc looks the scummiest to me. He's basically done nothing all game except come in to point the finger without adding any relevant information - he's a smart guy and I think he'd be doing more if he was legit town. In the best case scenario he is a town player that is openly admitting to not paying attention while still throwing around accusations. But I think its more likely that he's just scum being scum. So... ##lynch Boc.

I saw your claim and I buy it for now. I was clarifying what I said earlier about the Redster lynch since some people misconstrued what I meant by it. Calm down!!

(but since you brought it up, I dunno why you think being an early lynch on Vern helps clear you, that's a p common tactic for mafia on D1, especially for an inactive team member)

Ahhh I misread your post and thought you were calling me obvscum but upon re-reading you were referring to Redster, sorry. To be fair you did claim at the beginning of the day that I 'reeked of scum' which isn't that far off. I still kinda think you're scummy but I'm willing to look at other options.

I still don't really see why Herm is getting lynched at the moment. He's given me a town vibe. I guess I could be wrong but I'm not seeing it.

The fact that Henry touted his lynch record on four separate occasions today definitely registered on my scumdar.

Also, lynch train analysis only goes so far so I don't think anyone deserves to be cleared for voting Vern early on but I don't think its worth disregarding entirely. Even though mafia members do often hop onto lynch trains against their own once they've already gained momentum, I think its pretty rare that they are part of the group that creates the initial push.

While I am leaning towards Herm probably being town, I'm reluctant to vote someone else, solely for self-preservation, as I'm only a couple of votes behind him.

If I were to switch, I'd probably switch towards Henry (his posts are annoying and ready scummy) or im317 (being roleblocked the night with no axe kill is something I think is worth pushing farther).
