I’d probably gear towards roles that can’t be proven. Fake claims that got other scum lynched

Thinking on this more. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Brian’s role is very disruptive. Doesn’t really help town or mafia. Could work for either. Maybe this is it. Thoughts?

Sends a cursed doll(?) to a player that can then be passed along to another player and so on until it kills the next player its passed to on Night 4.
Order of the doll went Brian > Jackie > Ari > Vernon (Failed and back to Ari) > Porl
The doll ended up killing scum Paul. Thanks to Brian, Ari knew it would kill that night when he passed it to Paul.

Eats dead people to use their role for the night. Ate Roland and Buffy at least, but I don't remember who else this man consumed. Seems fine to me
