There have been a few reviews out now that all detail the same thing.

The discrepancy I've chosen to make is that these reviewers are only getting the first 6 episodes. So out of 13, if four are dedicated to build up- the rest can be action packed.

The story structure last season was that the first third was a whirlwind, the second third was used for build up, and the third was resolution (and some more build up/open ended stuff).

If this is the last season, or the season ends in a major event (like the death of Claire or something), then a slower set up and build up could work better.

I'm optimistic, but cautiously optimistic.

Curtis' reaction is the sole reason I am turning Episode 1 on right now. He will also be to blame when my girlfriend gets made at me for watching it without her. I hope you can carry this burden.
