Nothing is guaranteed, but you're overestimating the effect by a LOT and when I say a LOT I mean by an astronomic amount. | |

The key thing is, with 50 million (I assume tax-free dollars, since it gets more complicated otherwise), you could invest it and live off the interest for pretty much ever without needing to work. Hell, even a crappy money market account earning 2% is going to get you the equivalent of $100k/year without work.
With $100K/year, you can buy a lot of hot dog sandwiches.
Especially if they are two dollar hot dog, 1 dollar water.
