Hood has been inconsistent and heading towards a big payday ... Mitshell doing so well, has made him a little expendable.
Crowder has been decent in the past, he could be solid rotation player going forward.
Rose isn't staying...
Not a great trade, but not a bad one either. At this time!

Clippers vs Pistons tonight. I may actually watch a game for the first time in years. If not a decade. |

Watching the pistons vs clippers game and I remembered why I hate watching nba games. The officiating is so bad it makes the games unwatchable |

lol my post was a little excessive. Although I did hate the idea of Derrick Rose on the Jazz, but eh, he's gone already anyway so who cares. I just had a really soft spot for Hood even though he has been bad this season. I was hoping he'd step up after Gordon left and be a key player for the team but he's dwindled down to the bench and has played super off all year. I'll still really miss the guy though. Also kind of bummed to finally see JJ go but he was gone this upcoming offseason anyway and he's old.
I like Crowder and he's a good player so it's a perfectly fine trade tbh. |

After a 5 game winning streak, the Pistons have again realized they truly do suck and have stopped playing defense. They are now losers of 3 straight. Go team go! |

Lol, I was just coming here to post the same thing! Thank goodness I got that out of my system, cause I really don't care for NBA basketball, would rather watch NCAA at any level or high school any day of the week.

True but I did watch the first half and some of the second half against the Clippers on Friday night. I used to love the NBA 10-15 years ago but now it's just not watchable. Only a handful of teams have a shot at anything at best. Superstars keep joining up with other superstars making more and more teams become league fodder. |

Totally agree, actually the Pistons in 04 were probably the last team without a true "Superstar" to win a title for a very long time.

Small market team problems :( They've virtually all been blowouts too. |

Heard that O'neal kid is really good too ... enough to let Hood go. I've not seen him much though, he sounds like a baller

Yeah he kind of came out of nowhere. Wasn't being used much but with injuries, he got more playing time and did very well. He's been on the starting lineup more often than not since the Jazz started their win streak and he's been consistently good in every game. I like him a lot.
How about that Dunk Contest!? :dd: |
