You don't. That's why I said it's insane. And even if you knew they weren't the vig, the real vig could just out you and end your game right there (or the next day depending on who gets believed). The only thing would be if their role description blatant told them there is no vigilante in the setup, which is a huge stretch.
if its so insane then who do you propose is SKer? and if Cherry is Vig then why have there been no extra deaths? and before you say its an arsonist type role, everyone has claimed now and nobody has claimed a FBI Agent or Arson Investigator type role.
Who says there absolutely has to be a role to directly counter an Arsonist role.
Their work could just die with them if they don't get to pull the trigger, so to speak.
