Yeah, the NPCs etc aren't affected. You have to manually edit/create custom gender Sims.

Is there a switch to turn this on or is it all available from the same screen? Cause I kind of have a bad feeling that randomly generated and aged up sims are going to end up fucking weird cause of this.

Townies aren't effected according to one of the EA big shot's twitters.

This update is actually REALLY nice. I've wanted a lot of this clothing and hair for the opposite genders but I don't like jumping down the mods rabbithole for this game. The wider variety is very nice.

Basically the way it's set up, you can pick male or female, and then you have the option to change clothing preferences, body type, bathroom use (do they pee standing up? y/n), and fertility, so they can impregnate other sims or be impregnated, or neither. I haven't actually played outside of CAS yet but apparently you can change the settings at any time in game if you want.

So far I made a masculine lesbian. i'm digging it so far. I kinda feel bad for never giving the game a chance after it came out. I don't have any expansions, but I might look into Get To Work.

So there's a vampire game pack coming out later this month, but you guys, they JUST ADDED TODDLERS in a free patch. Toddlers! I hate those little shits but I'm excited as hell!

Oh my god, I actually love how they made these toddlers. They're soooo much better than the previous ones! They can get up onto couches and stuff! Mine was hungry and grabbed a slice of pizza from the table and then went to eat it (and then put the plate on a counter when she wanted to go to bed, and she could climb into bed by herself too!). I don't know how they deal with stairs since this family is in an apartment, but I bet they can climb them.

Update: They can also autonomously use the toddler potty (at potty skill level 2)!!!! I hated toilet training so much in 2 and 3 that I'd just cheat to get them to learn it. This is so huge for me. I might actually enjoy having toddler Sims in my houses.

Probably with clothes, but I think you can only change their body settings (like peeing standing, etc) after they're teens. You can change their teeth though! I think the teeth settings were preparation for the vampire pack, since they also added the creepy vampire walk in this patch.

To test the new toddlers and also because I haven't really touched any pack stuff yet I made a guy and his wife. The guy hates kids and writes children's books. He's also the one that can get pregnant. His wife wants a big family. Also she's an alien.

This guy is so miserable. He's just tense and angry all the time. Tense after woohoo because of the pregnancy risk. Tense because he got pregnant. Tense because his office is turning into a nursery. He's going to have a heart attack at 32.

At one point, he was uncomfortable, struggling to write his shitty book, hungry, morning sick, and also tired and still tense about the pregnancy thing, and he suddenly rolled the wish "Crush Dreams of Toddler"

This is the only part of fatherhood he looks forward to.

He was also invited to a social group called the Renegades, the baddest villains of Simland who are mischievous towards everyone!!!!!

Everyone in it looks like they stepped out of a hot topic and then there's this leave it to beaver pregnant idiot in a sweater vest and cargo shorts.

The club is run by a child named Max.

His daughter is an angry green child.

He's constantly angry, she's constantly angry. They hate each other. He refuses to do more with her than absolutely necessary, and he only does that when she wakes him up. He refuses to feed her, so she had to learn to do stairs so she could start stealing her parents' yogurts and cereal off the table to avoid being taken away by the social worker.

She has a dollhouse that she keeps smashing every time she's angry, then she instantly starts crying because her dollhouse is broken.

Then it broke and she became even more upset than usual and I noticed that her recently re-impregnated father was actually in a good mood, for pretty much the first time ever.

The second he found out he was having another kid he stomped the dollhouse and stared at the wreckage with a smile on his face.

He now does everything he can to get out of the house, which means going out whenever his friends invite him out. The only friend he has outside of the house being Max. A child. Who he hates talking to because he hates children.

He also automatically drinks and smokes the "bubbleblower" constantly until he's dazed and happy. And still pregnant.

I'm jelly you can all play this. I can no longer play The Sims 4 because every time I launch it, Origin says I have an update and the whole Origin app crashes halfway through updating the game so I have to force quit or restart my computer. :(
