STEAM FRIENDS: HELP ME

I sent someone a message on steam on their profile, because I didn't recognize the name and generally don't friend people I don't know.

BUT I realized who it is (they name changed) and I deleted my message as I don't really feel like having a chat with them. If you post something on someone's board, then delete, will they still see it? (Wasn't instant message. Was on their profile.)

But there is one thing you can do is see their past names. Right click on his/her name and click on "View Alias".

It wasn't an instant message though. It was a comment on their profile. Then I had a realization based on their games list and the absence of another name in my friends and deleted the comment.

Yes, you can delete profile comments, though I ignore mine.

Seriously just replicate it on someone you know who's up for it.

I comment on profiles because I wasn't curious enough to ask who the fuck they were and have to turn it into a conversation.

Has anyone heard of/played This War of Mine? Supposed to be really good. Apparently you're faced with brutal choices and you have to do awful things to survive. Sounds fun!!
