Curtis and I found a zombie game on Steam last night that was for free, No More Room in Hell. Been playing it on and off today. Every single server I've been in so far, everyone crowds in front of the first door in the game and proceeds to get horded within a few seconds while one asshole 12 year old shouts at everyone for being stupid. |

Woohoo. Xbox One is here. Setting it all up in about an hour, I can't wait!

I thought there was a thread for this, but apparently not.
I've been playing Bioshock Infinite off and on over the last few days. I'm not too far into it yet, but I figured I would post some impressions. I'm playing the PC version because my xbox controller was giving me some issues (it probably needs batteries).
Anyway, the graphics are absolutely beautiful, and the story so far is really interesting! UNFORTUNATELY I got spoiled for some stuff, but I don't really know how anything actually comes about, just that certain things happen, so it's pretty interesting to play and see how things unfold.
I'm at the part where
|
I have to go find a gunsmith for the rebel workers to supply their cause with firearms. |
My two complaints, and really only two:
- Elisabeth's esign is kinda creepy! It's just sort of OFF. The designs of the various random citizens aren't wonderful, and they are sort of nudging into the creepy end of the scale, but the fact that Elisabeth looks different from the other designs just sort of increases the uncanny valley factor.
On the other hand, the idle animations for her are a really great touch, having her interact with the various parts of the world while you're looting containers. It probably stands out for me because I was playing Skyrim right before I started Bioshock, and its a huge contrast from Lydia creeping behind me all the time.
- My other complaint is while the story is REALLY GOOD and the graphics are REALLY GOOD, the gameplay is OKAY. It just isn't as FUN as it could be. But for the sake of full disclosure, I don't even know how to switch between vigors so part of the not-as-fun-as-it-could-be factor is probably that I don't really know what I'm doing.
ALSO ELISABETH I APPRECIATE THE COINS BUT PLEASE NOT WHILE RPGS ARE FLYING AT ME, THANKS.

What part are you spoiled for?
And I agree the gameplay doesn't live up to the story/design though I still thought it was pretty good. The SKYLINE battles are a lot of fun. And I love wreaking havoc with the crow vigor

Elisabeth is the main character's daughter? I also read some stuff about the ending a few months back that I didn't really read into detail on so I'm not entirely sure what exactly it was. |

And I actually haven't enjoyed the crow vigor too much yet. I only had it so far during a brief period where I wasn't sure what the fuck I was doing and I wasted all my salts trying to use it on a window.
I AM NOT REALLY SURE WHAT I AM DOING.
The skyline battles are great though | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

loool I did the same thing when I first got it. Possession's probably the most powerful one but it's got pretty limited uses so I always stuck with the Crow vigor.
And...there's still quite a bit unspoiled if that's all you read! I can't wait to see what you think

I'm still in the process of beating the first Bioshock. I'm lost somewhere in an underwater tunnel with zombies everywhere. | --------------------

Got it all set up last night and I twitch streamed some titanfalll last night. It was pretty fun and had a few viewers other than my one friend wanting to watch.
Anyway the game is really awesome

Bioshock 2 is the best one as far as gameplay and whatnot goes. The other two are kind of meh in that department.

The Last Of Us....a clever game....playing on difficulty:hard....grinds my gears at times....a great game ....good gameplay....top notch graphics....really tough at times though. Came across the first work bench to craft stuff and shit....can't decide whether I should pimp my revolver or save the parts for later....I'm kind of a collector-whore when it comes to those things...meh | "There he goes. I can't wait to play this when I'm done Infamous 2. I've been tempted to just jump in, but promised myself to finish other games. Infamous 2 is really good and I wish I could get Infamous: Second Sons for PS3.

Yeah I was fortunate someone gave it to me after they sold their PS3. He saved it for me and I was surprised that it was the collector's edition. I will CHERISH it.
