Brady is a system quarterback, his defense won him his 2nd and 3rd Super Bowl anyways, he gets way too much credit.

Arent all great QB's a product of their 'system' to some extent? While you say he's been a product of a system, I'd say he's the reason for the system. Bledsoe was a very good QB but didn't flourish with its it. Not to mention name anyone outside one year with Moss and Gronkowski for the past couple years when he's had an All Pro receiver tight end or running back?

I don't think every QB is a system QB, there's QBs like Rodgers who are so talented they could flourish anywhere. And Peyton pretty much creates his own systems. I don't think it really invalidates system QBs though, best =/= most talented

Manning and Brady are both great, and Manning (in my opinion) has done more with less, but that's not to take away from Brady. Brady's a cold blooded QB, but he's, on average, had better protection throughout his career whereas Manning has been beat up which is evident in how they are now. Manning is near retirement, Brady looks like he can still go a few more seasons and produce at a high level.

Also, Superbowl, I think this is going to be a repeat of the Seahawks/Bronco's Superbowl. Carolina's D is aggressive and produces turnovers so if Manning isn't on point, there's going to be a pick 6 for sure - and Denver might have had the better defense in comparison throughout the season and more veterans/better depth spread across defense then Carolina, but I also feel like with this being the Superbowl, Newton will be running more and Denver hasn't really had to deal with a dual-threat QB.

Exactly. Not every team can breed SB winning QBs like we do. :)

I know nothing about the NFL except that Seattle once won the Super Bowl. YAY! And I have a Detroit Lions mug, courtesy of my daughter's BF who's from there/likes them.
