The whole gum or patch thing is something else I've entertained the thought of, but the prospect of doing them for 10 years (about how long I've smoked, give a couple of years) isn't appealing.

You could try exercise (not kidding), every time you feel for a smoke try running or something. It becomes quite healthy too.

Why am I not surprised that KC hates vending machines

I hate the fucking one at work so much. I don't like going up front and waiting in line for half my break to pay $1.63 for a pop when it's $1.25 at the vending machine within seconds. But oh no, your dollar has a small little crease on it, sorry, not good enough for me. Go ahead and try your change, but oops, our change chute has no traction so it'll just sit like a quarter of a inch inside of it but won't go down. So I have to punch it and try to somehow stick my pinky finger in there or something, yeah like that'll work. I actually went back to my meat cooler and pulled out one of those really long meat thermometers so I can go to the front of the store and stick it in the change chute of a vending machine. People probably thought I was trying to break in but whatever. And then once it goes down, it proceeds to give me no credit for the quarter and won't give it back to me anyway. Hooray! This has happened to me three times.

Man fuck vending machines.

I had a vending machine that sucked like that at work for about the first month, but then one day it was fixed and only cost TEN CENTS for a soda. It was glorious

I don't exercise as often as I should but dat endorphin rush every time I do is a great feeling.
