We'll pause for a couple of days to allow our new champion to decide on our next theme, then I'll open things up for submissions for the next round.

The first round of group stage voting for Episode 2.3 is now open. Voting will run through Tuesday night, August 17th. This gives you about 4.5 days to listen through the 4 groups and pick your initial favorites.

I'm somewhat shocked that not a single song from The Who or The Guess Who was nominated, although, thinking about the demographics here, I guess it shouldn't be too shocking.

I actually just found out I have stuff to do on Tuesday night, so I may not be around enough to update things, so we will be pushing the deadline for the Group Stage until Wednesday night.

In our largest elimination yet, 16 songs were cut from the competition after the opening group stages. The top 32 songs remain. Voting for the first round of both the Winner's Bracket and the Consolation group stages is now open and will be open through Saturday night. 8 songs will be eliminated then, so get voting to save your favorites!

Hand Cannot Erase was actually one of the few songs I added to my liked songs, sad it’s gone!
