Does anyone here play Diablo 3, or rather has anyone played it since they released the expansion pack? My friend keeps going on about how they fixed the game and it's amazing, but he played it a lot before they *fixed* it, so obviously he didn't find it too broken before.
He texted me a trial code or something to give it a try. But I doubt I can actually experience any of the supposedly fixed content on a trial, so if anyone else has an opinion I'd appreciate hearing it.

Also after a looong break from playing video games (damn you school) I just started Arkham City. Its a bit overwhelming at the moment with so many side quests and riddler trophies everywhere but I like it so far. I like that you can take pictures of trophies and do them later if you cant when you find them. Playing catwoman is also refreshing and quite fun!
The character bio´s are also pretty cool and much better than Asylum.

I'm right at the end of Asylum but I put it down for awhile (: . I probably only have a few minutes left, not sure why I didn't finish. I'll have to get to that soon

Honestly I'm not gonna pay twice for a "fixed game" in a patch. I was done after I played it once, I loved Diablo 1's atmosphere, Diablo 2's gameplay, but couldn't feel any of those two in this game. I don't care to get the expansion and probably never will.

It honestly gets really easy to understand the side stuff once you're into it, potentially my favourite game of all time.

They fixed:
1. The difficulty: It is now flexible depending on how strong your character. There are like 11 levels now: Normal, Hard, Expert, Master, and Torment (1-6)
Normal is a joke, Hard is a little harder, Expert is fine difficulty for a beginner, Master is tough for those without equipment, Torment is the end game difficulty.
2. The items, legendaries drop a lot more often and most of the time they have stats that benefit your class. Much less bullshit of having Strength and Dexterity items dropping when playing the Wizard, which primary uses Intelligence. There is a NPC now that replaces a stat in an item with another one.
3. A new game mode, it's pretty much the campaign mode but a little more sandboxxy.
But yeah compare to vanilla D3, which was a fucking mess, it has been improved a lot but I still think this game isn't as good as D2 though.

I never got the appeal of this game, it's like being a goat and making a mess. It's the type of game I would play for 10 min. and get bored of it.

Do you foresee yourself continuing to play the game or did you just check in to see what they fixed and put it back on the pay no mind list?

The Ship. Saw it on a Twitch stream recently and had to get in on that. Fun as hell.
It came with two other copies to gift on Steam if anyone wants them. |
Curtis and I were just randomly talking about this game and saw today it's on a Steam sale this week for like $5. Strange coincidence! Just played it a little bit since I haven't in a really long time.
I still got the two copies sitting in my steam inventory. An FE server would be fun to dick around in |
