Are you not allowed to self vote? I’d vote for better songs if I felt they were better or if it was against the rules

I mean it's not a big deal but the original point of this was to expand everyone's horizons and share new music. Which if someone's just voting for their own, kinda goes against that (:

I always vote for my 3 favorite songs from the playlist, without any care about who submitted them.

I figure it's not my fault you all like terrible music. If you pick better music, then I'll not have to vote for my song every time. :)

Not always! I've had at least one song make the quarterly list before!

I mean, I'd vote for my song every single time because I like every song I submit, usually more than any of the other songs. :P

I've started not posting my favorite songs for this, and instead something I heard on the radio recently, so I can listen to it a couple more times to try to decide if I like it or not.

I do this too sometimes, and in that case I also vote for my own song if there are less than 3 others that I really like.

It's really not a competition for me though and I just like discovering some new music from time to time. There are a bunch of songs from previous playlists in my "Liked songs" in spotify.

Peg is definitely getting my vote. still trying to nail down the other 2.
