at least 2 if Kyle isn't lying. And we know Wikey needed to find someone with a food tag. And Mal also needs food, and we know he has a power called Munchies, so probably 2 or 3 I'd guess.

I wasn't informed of this if it did happen so I think not. Also no sane person would have protected me of all people even if they were food.

and with people being able to have their tags changed, maybe that's what some of the roles would use and not the actual item the person chose.

why would you say that? Maybe Farlig did think you were Town. I'd have to go back and look at whether or not he suspected you.
