They recently announced that they'd announce when campaign 3 will start in early October, which likely means it won't start until January. 7+ months after campaign 2 ended. :huh:

CR just posted some well wishes to Brian W Foster as he moves onto other things and leaves CR. I didn't like him at the start at all but warmed up to him and recently really appreciated him after I finally watched Undeadwood, which I thought was amazing. Would love to see him do a sequel still
I read a few months ago that people were saying Mica Burton was basically gunning for his role which..........eh! I don't watch Talks and will continue to not watch it if she's the host. I'm sure she's fine but I really didn't like the way that she played Reani at all so the idea of her sticking around doesn't thrill me. But whatev! Like I said I didn't like BWF at the start either so tbd
I didn't end up watching much of Talks either. I would guess this is a move to add more diversity to Critical Role, if he didn't make the decision on his own.
I could definitely see Mica getting the job. :lol: Not sure she's watched a ton of Critical Role, but who knows?

Oh I just saw an article that was like "long time critical role member leaves show!" And it was about BWF... I like talks when I don't have a lot of episodes to catch up on.
The new version that doesn't have time for actual fan questions feels a little more stale but that's not Brian's fault.
Talks was fun with the shenanigans in between questions and it was an interesting insight into player's characters. I like Micah and I think she did great with Matt on Critter Hug
The bit about new storytellers and mixing things up makes me think Matt will take a break from DM’ing and be a PC from time to time? Maybe one of the other seven will DM and their character will Yasha away or maybe they’ll bring in Abria or another guest DM. Whatever it is I hope it goes smoothly
Yeah, I'm not sure what they mean by all that. Could be interesting! If it's good, it's good. They'll probably use the last thursday of every month maybe for one shots with other people running them or maybe more exu type stuff? T'is a mystery. It kinda feels like EXU could've been a test run to see how people would feel with other dm's swapping in in the main campaign, and I don't think that went well, so it'll be interesting to see what they end up doing. Could see some extended guests maybe, or maybe they do add in a guest dm every now and then?
