Soon. I have an idea for it but I need a certain material

Until then! Two very simple things that I worked on these past two days on the side while working. Quick and dirty farm plots and bushes, two things I wanted for an upcoming session. Step by step pics in spoiler tags

Really easy and really average, but it does the trick! I have a farm setting coming up and I wanted to make it look more farm like. Had this one strip of cardboard and the idea came from that. Didnt have much to use for ground texture which wouldve made it look nicer but o well. I might add dried out tea leaves on the tops of the rows to make it look like something is growing, tbd

BUSHES! Real easy. Something I should've made awhile ago since they're so universal and can be used mostly whenever. Might make larger ones or others that look more wild and less like nice and neat shrubs but these work for now

Two more quickies that I made yesterday while I was working. Both are made out of paper products and glue and that's really it

First, wood floor! Been wanting to find a way to make a wood floor base or wood tiles for awhile now so this was a good test. Made with super thin strips of cardboard that I found a dece way to give some texture to

Vines! And a corpse flower printed out and based. The vines are gonna sprout out of the ground and grab my dumb players. Made out of toilet paper, another technique I've been wanting to try for awhile. You soak it in half glue half water and then strengthen it up with more Elmer's glue and eventually hot glue. Super durable when its all done, its really just paper mache

Two more! I've been in such a mood lately

First one isn't particularly PRETTY but its a style I've been wanting to try out for awhile now. There's this very endearing Bob Ross of dnd crafting on Youtube who does everything in this style. He preaches making terrain for playability instead of style and makes basically everything out of cardboard and hot glue and paint, hes great

I needed this very specific kinda area for our sesh tomorrow. Its a cavern at the bottom of a well that they'll (hopefully) go down and I thought his style was the best way to go about it. Used gloss varnish for the first time which made the water look much better, you cant tell in the pics tho

Then I decided to try to improve my old tree bases which was one of the very first things I made. They work fine for what I need them for but I wanted to try to make my own trees for the first time too. V happy with them. If I make more Ill wrap gluey toilet paper around the trunks before painting them to give them more texture but I was fine with the slightly more cartoonish look for this one

Curtis this stuff is fantastic - I love how it's all quite simple materials, but you really have a talent for turning them into realistic looking terrain/objects. Very cool

Ty! That’s half the fun for me, trying to recycle things I’d otherwise throw away and turn them into terrain. Not spending money is a bonus
