This didn’t sound like typical U2 to me so I didn’t mind it as much. It rly is the first time I see ppl hating on U2, always felt like they were super overrated.

The first playlist of the year it was all over the place cuz it was such a good playlist. This time it’s all over the place cuz there was not much to like? Lol

Lol. There’s no way you would have even known this was U2 if you hadn’t been told. This isn’t anywhere close to what they do. It’s a shame your bias prevents you from having an open mind to certain things. Hate is something you choose. Just like your mood.

Good Van Diemen's Land - Wow, some actual melody, it's a miracle. I read up on this, apparently The Edge wrote and sung this one. Is it him on this version, because it doesn't sound like Bono? Best song on the playlist, not even close...with the exception of 25 or 6 to 4 of course. Okay Sundown Top Notch Cracks - sounds like something my old school friends would put on at house parties. In fact, it probably is. Don't like it, but nostalgia, y'know. Meh Anti-Pop Kreuzberg - I've hated Bloc Party ever since that stupid song about the helicopter...so annoying. So I was weary of this one going in. It wasn't so bad, but it wasn't so good either. Meh is a good rating from me for a Bloc Party song. God I'd love to punch the singer right in the face for inflicting that helicopter song on everyone. Made me appreciate Van Gogh's decision to cut off his ear: Angela - What's the point of this? Blood in The River - Had some good blues slave song vibe going on at the start, then they invited some crappy speed metal band to play over it with their fake ass drum samples. Yuve Yuve Yu - hahahaha, the Mongols should go back to sacking cities if this is the best they can produce musically. At least they are good at the former. Doses and Mimosas - Annoying and too long Bruh - No one cares bruh

FWIW I absolutely hate “Helicopter” and I’m a big Bloc Party fan. I prefer their recent stuff to older because it’s softer.

Mercifully I can't remember what Helicopter sounds like anymore, I listened to it once and that was enough.

I only know of it because a few years back some former bandmates of mine wanted to cover it. Which is one of the reasons they are former bandmates
