Engaging with FE solely on my iPhone is much more of a roadblock to hosting than lack of gameplay knowledge

not sure you you're beating yourself up over the game. It was fun and wasn't a cookie cutter game.

If you should be angry with anyone, its the random.org gods for making the scum team consist of DS, Spin, and Buffy. That's like putting mentos in a coke bottle and capping it.
