I hadn't considered the possibility of Arsonist being red herring. Which I'm still iffy on but it is a possibility

Mafia is a threat to town, to cult, and to potential arsonist too. Heck I was between Mafia primate and what I thought was Cult recruiter/arsonist Farlig yesterday. I mean, when I was Mafia Lawyer there was still a Mafia Godfather. Lawyer's existence doesn't impact the existence or lack thereof of a GF.

I'm not saying Rodney is cult. I don't think he is. I'm just wondering from your perspective why are you so sure that I am Cult and he isn't when both of our roles are, from your perspective as a "Vanilla Townie", equally likely. Difference is, I've actually help catch scum based on being a Commuter (I can repost the stuff I said on D2 that outed Spiderwoman) But here you are having DECIDED that I'm Cult and need to be lynched today. The only reason I can see for that is because I'm pushing hard against Primate and you want to save him.
