"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
I finally finished this after drawing out both seasons for months on end. I don't know why it took me so long.

Unfortunately I was spoiled by pretty much everything. I was spoiled by Doug's death very early into watching, can't remember how that happened. I decided to watch the S2 premier half asleep and had my eyes closed for most of the episode, missing Zoe's death completely and then being confused when Lucas was talking about her being dead in the next. I was spoiled by Russo's death because I accidentally went out of order when picking the show back up and literally the first few seconds talked about him being dead. And some news article talking about Paul Ryan bitching about the show had the hilarious headline "Paul Ryan has no confidence in the president... President Francis J. Underwood that is!" Ah ha ha! Thanks for ruining the climax of the entire series!
Despite knowing arguably four of the biggest outcomes of the series, I still really enjoyed it. I just don't know where the hell they go from here. That seemed to happen really... quick. Walker's reign as President was only a little over a year and he dumped the Vice President in under a year. Seems a little ridiculous, tbh! But I'm interested to see how the House of Cards comes toppling over. I'm hoping it's something a little more unique than Rachel.
Doug was my favorite so I was sad watching the entire series knowing he was gonna die eventually. He added so much to every scene he was in without having to say much at all. Great presence.
Doug's death STILL pisses me off! Michael Kelly's a great actor and I can't really imagine the show without Doug. There's gonna be a huge void now I feel
I read about what happens in the UK versions third season. Both versions have been very similar so far apparently, so there's a good chance that it could happen here. It's....interesting!
