Wouldn't there be backlash if someone made false accusations? Isn't this why people normally don't always come out when things happen to them for fear that people won't believe them? You could be right, I'm just saying.

Often it doesn't come out until much later that accusations are false. There should be backlash, its just an issue that not a lot of people pay attention to.

In these cases its often guilty until proven innocent and thats not right. People need to reserve judgement until theres evidence, instead of pitchforking.

I think they are pointing out the "Men's lives ruined by false accusations" while ignoring the thousands of women whose lives are ruined by being raped but don't say anything because when they do, they are accused of "lying", or "being a slut", or "wanting it at the time and now regretting it", "Or just trying to gold dig", and a thousand other things. Because men being accused are the *real* victims, right? </sarcasm>

but here's a question -- how surprised are you to learn how widespread this behavior is? would you be surprised to know that it's not particular to hollywood, but common to nearly every industry and it's just easy to start with hollywood because of the juxtaposition of a given actor's characters and who they are in real life? cliff huxtable wouldn't drug anybody!
