So as someone who wasn't around for the Overwatch game and doesn't really want to look for it... is the similarity between that game and this one that people essentially had hit points that deteriorated over time until their eventual death?

Basically the same except you have SSB mechanics instead of Overwatch mechanics + items.

In Overwatch you have x hp, x hp runs out you die.
In SSB you have x damage, and damage alone doesn't kill you, an attack must "launch you off the stage", and different attacks launch you different amounts all multiplied with your damage.

In Overwatch you charge up your ULTIMATE passively and actively.
In SSB you have a FINAL SMASH that you have to get to and break before others to be able to activate. Here it's voted for for some reason.

Also, Boc is a scrub that doesn't use 4 stock, 8 minutes, no items so we have items here to ruin our fun :'(

I think the items will be helping scum a lot more than more than they help town. They are an easy way for our discussion to get side tracked from scum hunting, and scum is more likely to be able to use the aggressive ones effectively because they at the very least will know who NOT to target with their items. Town is very likely to hit other town members unless they have actual information to go off of. I guess at the very least, if they are in the hands of a town member that means they are not in the hands of scum.

Also, I'm interested to know what the Beam Sword, Metal Box and Party Ball do.

You guys want me to explain what the beam sword does? It's quite simple really. I assume the other two items are relatively straight forward.

It would be helpful Herm, I'd assume it was some boost of an attack?

I'd rather be apart of the lynch to actually try and get scum if it's going to be difficult to find them in this game given the setup

Also do you have to use the item the night you get it? Or can you hold onto it until you want to claim a new one?

I'd like you to, personally. This set up feels like a bit of a clusterfuck, and we don't really have anything to go on or discuss right now. So I think the more info that town has at it's disposal, the better.

Hmmm, this is an interesting question actually. It never really specified.

All it was is that I got use the sword to attack on top of my other abilities.

I basically picked someone I was suspicious of and sliced him with the sword, but I never got a message that confirmed that my attack was successful so I guess we'll see.

I assume I sliced their arm off like Obi-Wan Kenobi.
