I will say that a Survivor should...survive. So even tho thats not what my win condition says I think I should've technically lost for dying But I for sure think self-aligned Survivors shouldn't steal a win from a group at the end, that would be so negatively received. I think the fun of a self-aligned Survivor is having the ability to win with any faction and be able to sorta choose which one they wanna help out, that's part of what made this game so fun for me anyway. It almost makes them like a MERCENARY whose alignment is grey and can go in any direction

Okay, I can agree to this. And yeah, you're probably right in the sense that it makes it much funner for the Survivor.

Survivors MUST survive, but if they do survive, they can jointly win with a faction, not steal the faction's win. I still think third party shouldn't be allowed to jointly win with a faction, but at the same time, I don't actually count Survivor as anti-Town based on the uniqueness of the role, so I guess Survivor is just that unique.

(To be fair, I've actually only hosted one game where a Survivor made it to the end of the game and stole the win. The Survivor stole the game from the Mafia, which seriously pissed off the Mafia (double mindfuck: The Survivor started the game as Mafia Janitor, who, thanks to some Bus Driver fuckery, inherited and stole the Survivor role from the kill he was sent to Jan), but made everyone else laugh. No other Survivor I've ever used has come close, until this game)

This is what I wanted!

I assume it didn't happen because Angi was going to try and convince Brian that Peanut was the final Mafia, because there was enough doubt about Peanut being an actual Vanilla Townie (especially when Dylan flipped) that maybe it could've worked for her?

Helios, this is part of FE not understanding that unaligned survivor is not 3rd party. they have this hand up where there survivor is 3rd party but can win with any faction. it makes no sense but its how they do things.

I've never played where survivor had to be last man alive. It's damn near impossible for them to win if not joint. But mid can do what they want. This game was awesome and it looks like everyone was able to enjoy it which is something we haven't had around here lately

yeah but in that case survivor is not 3rd party, they are unaligned. the confusion comes from the incorrect use of 3rd party.

PS.......I edited my post before hitting send. I was originally going to kill Brian but Curtis is too convincing and figured he could convince Peanut to kill me easily. Curtis consistentlysaid he'd win with town so in my eyes they were all town and I had zero shot at winning.
