So if you think its the latter of the two that still makes me scummy in your books? That's just as bad which makes you look scummy in my eyes. If you genuinely thought it was scummy then I'd understand your claim but if you think its me being stupid then there's no reason to think I'm scummy. Yeah I never thought out my answer before putting the Natalie vote, I was merely just getting her the votes needed so we'd have a majority. |

No.
Read this part very carefully:

Which... tbh it was PROBABLY the latter but I haven't seen anyone do any overtly scummy things since then to make them knock you off the top |
I'll put it in even simpler terms: what you did is the scummiest thing I've seen so far, therefore no one has been higher on the list than you.
I don't even know why you're still arguing after you lied about not saying anything about Natalie and I demonstratively proved you wrong. That combined with "OMG you think I'm scummy? That makes... you scummy!" makes me feel even more strongly about leaving you at the top of my list!

Can we maybe get a list posted here that most agree on so we can vote similarly?
|
I dunno if that's a good idea because scum could easily influence it. And even if not, the list posted could be way off-base.
I think the best route would just be what we're doing today: voicing our opinions about people and let people decide for themselves based off those

Yea, I see what you mean. Alright, following your lead. (glad to hear more from you today :) )

Alright, here's my response to Drr.
|
The reason I put Rob at the top was mainly because of his posts. I think I actually have a few of those saved (via copy pasting to Paul and :| ing hard at them. It was the "Meh. Might as well give Ari busdriver *bandwagons*, |
This was 100% due to the fact that I didn't feel like spending ten trillion hours arguing about something that would ultimately prove meaningless. It was day one, there was no good reason to trust or mistrust anybody else in the context of the game's events. There was also no reason to assume anything about what might come of electing someone to the bus driver position. Someone volunteered, and I did not have any great reason to vote against them, especially since it seemed like nobody was willing to step up. If there had been any semblance of a case against Ari other than "this might be a scum bandwagon," I'd have been more cautious, but there wasn't. In fact, even if there had been, then it could have been, "the scum don't want Ari, because they want one of their own, so Replacement Candidate X is a bandwagon!" And then we would have gone around in circles forever and ever until I felt like dying.
So, yeah, I bandwagoned a random person to avoid having to choose between him and a different random person, and saved myself hours of tedious debate, which would ultimately have changed nothing at all, in the process.
|
Meh I don't know who I'd trust with the gun Meh fine natalie's good, |
This argument is just stupid on the face of it. I laid out specific criteria for who I'd trust with the gun. Natalie met those criteria. The only other candidate who actually made an effort was Henry, and the hell if I was going to ever consider giving him the gun, ever. In fact, I already snarked at Dylan for raising this exact same argument; if you want, I can repost it.
|
meh,btw I'm definitely totally not scum and can be trusted with the gun. I sucked in Lab 2 as a bad guy so even if I was a bad guy you'd know like right away."
The quote about not being scum based on Lab 2 performance was the worst one for me, because while Rob was calling out various people based on metagaming, he sold himself incredibly short. He may have been awful scum in Lab2, but he did a fairly good job in Mini Sausage as the usurper Randy and is generally a good player in most respects in other games. |
Well, what the heck did you want me to say there, Rose? I wanted the gun for my own protection because I don't trust anybody, and saying "I'm a very intelligent person who has successfully made it through X number of games that none of you saw me in, solely by being sneaky" is kinda counterproductive on that front. I don't have a lot of history to draw on with regards to my own trustworthiness, so I pulled literally the only example I had in the deck.
However, the gun argument, as almost all of us wound up admitting, was pointless, since any scum who got it wouldn't be dumb enough to use it unless they knew for sure they could get away with it after the fact. Any candidate for gun ownership who didn't agree to wait for a group consensus before using it would be signing their own death warrant.
Fact of the matter is that I am not scum, and any lie detector in the cast can feel free to scan me and prove it. |
"If Rebekah could keep doing this, she could gain favor and become a ruthless dictator."

Very busy so I'm only skimming briefly, but wanting the gun badly enough to try to sell yourself as the best choice by greatly downplaying your own aptitude is the :| thing. There's very little reason to want the gun and want it that badly. I understand wanting it to keep it out of scum hands as yours are obviously the only ones you know the true alignment of, but wanting it badly enough that you'd sell yourself short when you really arent the kind of person to underplay your abilities is a little suspicious.
Also, Jeff only posted maybe 3 times day 1. I don't remember him saying anything remotely relevant at all. I remember some terrible jeff post, Boc calling him scum, jeff posting "lol carter" then hours later posting to give Natalie the gun with a one sentence reasoning. Vote for whoever's the most suspicious!
If that person dies during the final showdown, it'll just skip to the next highest person anyway

As the group stood around, discussing directions, Natalie began to cough a little. Collective eyes turned to look at her as the coughing got worse and worse. A couple of the onlookers rushed over to help her as she stumbled forwards.
Coughing violently, blood splattered against the floor as she continued. There was a haunted look on her face as she glanced down at the blood stains. It was...they....
She passed out cold on the ground. Boc and Jeff rushed over. Casually touching her neck to check her pulse, Boc stood up with a mortified glare.
"She's dead..." he said coldly.
The room fell silent. | |

Small question to Helios: Did you get passed the note from Rob? |
I can confirm that I was passed one additional shard. HOWEVER, both Rob AND Wikey have claimed to have passed me a shard. Thus, someone is lying.
|
Wouldn't it just be the smartest thing to be "silenced" as to not be suspected as Mafia?
Can you use items and pass them when you're silenced? |
Yes. It was explicitly stated in the notice that I got about the silencing that I was still allowed to vote and do actions in my journal. I passed Helios my N, about two hours or so after they were dispersed.
|
Excellent. So, Rob is scum.
Look at the last phase, which isn't deleted yet. In post #58, I said my letter, which is N. Furthermore, I can confirm that Wikey's letter WAS a lower case L. I have two letters right now, one is my capital N that I started with, the other is Wikey's lower case L. Therefore, Rob is lying scum. |

You know Helios is scum when he summarizes everything and then adds to the discussion by picking out one random sentence someone says and writes an italicized diatribe about how it's curious and he really, REALLY wants to know more about it.
"What did you mean by this, though? You are eating a biscuit? A BISCUIT???? Seems a little farfetched to me. Really gonna need to hear more about this biscuit situation." | Yes
With some form of over the top, “Wait, what the actual fuck?!” thrown in
| A biscuit? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?
Say it with me... inactive biscuit is still biscuit. And my key to victory. |

Going to go back and re-read fully now, I just wanted to skim and see if I got Rob's letter or not.
(read: I knew Wikey was telling the truth all day, and I wanted to see what Rob had to say.) |

As Natalie fell to the ground, her backpack fell too. Out of it scattered two items. A handgun and a hunting rifle. The group paused to stare at the outlaid weapons.
