No, he did not die. He's probably gonna die soon just because he's all sickly and shit, but he hasn't died yet.

I don't think he actually ever says that, im pretty sure he just thinks it. And with how dark they made both of those deaths I think it would be hard to throw that little nugget of humor in there.

I feel like that could work and still keep the darkness. Plenty of people just crack up after doing something like that (or after experiencing traumatic events, etc. It's a documented thing). It shows how fucked up the situation is.

I think it's pretty dark to crack a joke about the death of your father after murdering him (:

I loved the line in the book, but i just think it would have been horribly out of place after seeing tyrion kill shae and tywin. Its alot more graphic when you actually have to view it.

You could just show Tyrion looking at Tywin's corpse and muttering the line. You don't even have to show the corpse or have any noise from it. They could've had that bit of him looking off hang a little longer and then he just cracks one of those "Why the fuck am I smiling at this" smiles and saying it.

I'm still annoyed they never talked about Tysha.
