Whenever I'm at other forums I try to like people's posts, but I just end up looking at the screen confused.

Same. I don't want to use KMB at all anymore because I like the format here.

Though I'm of course boycotting the like/dislike and reputation system.

I will say that KMB has a better rep system.

Yes.

Though you could say that the likes and dislikes of individual posts serves the same function as rep on KMB, though rep on KMB is more transparent and can be seen by anyone who wants to look while for likes and dislikes you'd have to literally read every thread on the site to see, while the reputation itself is just a thing to cause a stir and entertain the admins, who can see who gives what to who, as others have mentioned.
