This last episode was one of the craziest episodes of any TV show that I've seen in a while. That cliffhanger.
And you just KNOW that the next episode is going to be about Tommy so we will have to wait two full weeks to get any information on what's going on with Kevin right now.

That episode was wild. There's no way that |
Kevin can die though. He's too handsome. |

Almost no other show could pull of an episode like that. That was the closest to Lost Damon has gotten
|
REALLY glad Kevin is alive. Justin Theroux is so amazing on this show. His acting is just so convincing and his dry humor is spot on. "Like The Godfather?"
What a fun/bizarre episode. I loved it |

Just watched it, it was great. I love how these side story episodes end up being so brilliant and connect things together so well. This season is doing such a good job of never wasting an episode/scene/character at all

That was one of the my favorite tv show seasons ever I think. The finale was amazing. I laughed to myself during the PREVIOUSLY ON because it reminded me just how many plotlines they needed to tie up or touch upon in this episode, but they did it so well

Kevin dying again gave me so much anxiety. When we got flashbacks to previous moments with his family during karaoke, I thought for sure he was dead this time for good and was extremely sad. When he came back I gasped and cheered. I thought he was gonna think he was still dead when he saw the destroyed town though (since it looked the same as the last time he was on the bridge when he died before), so I thought he'd tragically fuck things up for himself thinking he was still dead
LOVED:
- Mary's awakening. So sudden and unexpected
- Tommy helping Nora/full circle with the baby
- Michael's speech was p good
- Kevin's karaoke
- John/Kevin being pals again despite everything
- The final moment in the house
What a great season. If this show isn't renewed I'm gonna be so pissed. I really liked S1 and didn't get the hate, but I do see and agree that this season was a huge step up. This has been one of the most consistently great seasons of a show I've seen in awhile. It was all incredibly impressive |

That last scene felt very series finale-ish. I'm nervous :/ I want another season so bad. |

THAT OPENING WAS FUCKING GROSS I WAS EATING!!!
I'm a bit indifferent on the first episode. A lot of what I disliked about the show's first season kinda remains here, unlikable/uninteresting characters and cringeworthy dialogue mostly. And as much as I like weird/surreal moments in shows/movies it kinda feels like this show does it for the sake of doing it a lot. I dunno, I'm sure they'll pay off some of the things from this episode later, but a lot of it feels a bit like it's trying too hard and is forced
WITH THAT SAID I've heard nothing but great things about this season so I'll stick with it. But I'm beginning to get the feeling that this just isn't my show. We'll see
is the black baby that was left on the doorstep the one they showed in the opening???? They mentioned that pastor was in Brazil for a time, so maybe he somehow got that baby back to Mapleton and left it on their doorstep? hmmmm!! That opening was the best part of the episode though. Seemed almost Malick-esque |

I'm 100% sure that opening was just the writers saying that they're not creationists.

Nora's an IDIOT! I felt like Kevin was completely justified in losing his shit over the house that they could've spent ~1 million less for. She sold the old house for $2.7 million, where she'd even get that last $300,000 from?
As much as I liked Patti in S1 (best character from that season), she's pretty annoying as a ghost. Maybe that's heading somewhere but right now I wish they would've just left her out
The Laurie episode was decent even though I never really cared about her that much. It was nice exploring the GR a bit more even if it didn't exactly explain what they're about beyond "they think the world ended". I feel like that's one of the things that might just be a mystery to the end though
HBO always puts detailed ratings before each episode and 2x03 got an RP for Rape. Wasn't expecting that tho! I'm hoping they actually do more with that than just having Nick drink heavily that one night and be fine after that, that'd be pretty dumb. He seemed completely fine at the end though. Maybe he hugged himself?? |
