finished ep 2. I liked it even though I had MANY MANY glitches, way more than last time. Every single time a new scene would load the audio would lag behind for the first several lines before catching back up and playing the missed lines all at once. It was so annoying. Anyone else play this on 360 and NOT have this issue? Because if not I might just redo the whole thing on PC before the next episode comes out so I don't have to deal with that shit. Even though I just bought the season pass on 360. Ugh
ANYWAY
Spoiler
+
- Didn't forge the letter. Not a hard decision at all, that'd be ridiculously dumb to potentially shatter my family's biggest ally's trust over something Rodrik might've been able to do himself
- Didn't kiss the ring. FUCK OFF!
- Lost Eleana's betrothal. I leaned too heavily on the "...but I love you bby!!!" angle instead of trying to actually bargain. Whoops
- Stood up for Cotter
- Killed the attacker. I mean, it's the least I could do. And I'd still be in deep shit with the Lannisters either way, so
Asher was gr8. Can't wait to meet Dany. His and Mira's storylines are currently my favorites

That last clip from the next episode distinctly reminded me of Quentyn's adventure. Hopefully it doesn't end up the same way (:
So annoyed that they haven't fixed the data issue for Xbox One. Choices aren't importing from Episode 1, and they're barely addressing the issue except for one update three days ago saying they knew it was a problem. How hard is this to fix? You have PC/PS copies and then Xbox/Xbox One Other telltale titles to look at and try and help you address the choices issue since it works on every other platform and game.
Really annoyed that I haven't been able to play this for a week.
this game has been glitchy as hell all around it seems. I think it's starting to show that they're stretching themselves too thin with all these projects they keep picking up

I'll be the first to admit I complained a bit when we had to wait 3+ months for TWD episodes, but I'd rather a long wait for a polished episode at this point.
So they fixed the Xbox One version and I finally found a block of time where I could play uninterrupted. Amazing. I'm absolutely in love with what Telltale has done with the GoT and Walking Dead universes.
ALSO, have all of you linked telltale accounts to your game? If you log in to the website you get to see other choices/stats outside of the "big 5"
*I thought I posted my Episode 1 stuff but I can't seem to find it? *shrug*
Episode 1
+
-Stayed with Bowen.
- Swore loyalty to the King
- Sent Erik to the wall
- Picked Royland. Once Malcom told me Royland would be a good choice I knew it would be for the best. War coming and all.
- Met Ramsay at the Gate. Wanted to show that I wouldn't be intimidated.
Can't believe I didn't post any of this earlier so forgive me if it's brief. I like how they instilled in us that no one is safe even if playable with Ethan's death. Different from TWD tbh, where I expect the character to make it to the end of the final episode. There is so much they can do with the character changes.

Thoughts
Loved seeing Yunkai and Asher. I thought the entire pre-credits scene was a great way to get you amped for the rest of the episodes. I slamed on Tazal's knee but then regretted it when I turned around to see he was able to flee. Beskha didn't seem to like the idea of going to Westeros, so when the opportunity arose I had Asher say Beskha could lead the sell swords. Thought it would be a great idea since she seems skilled and I wanted to make sure she didn't have second thoughts about taking the trip back.
I had been planning to have Mira be the most devious of the group since she has to deal with all the politics of Kings Landing, so I didn't second guess sending the fake letter after having already stolen the seal in the previous episode. I was pretty certain Margaery knew I stole the seal after she mentioned it and then proceeded to make sure she took the new one with her when she left, so there was no hesitation on my part. I'll already have to deal with the backlash of stealing it at some point I bet. I expected the late night meeting to be a cliffhanger, but was kind of glad the episode played out as it did. There was no way I could run away and let Tom die at Damien's hands. I get some weird vibes from Sera, promised to keep her secret, but I plan to bury her before she screws me over.
I really enjoyed the scenes at the wall as well. Especially the elevator ride with Jon Snow and then your first approach to the edge of the wall. My only hope is that Gared survives long enough for us to experience the chaos of the attack on the wall. I didn't want to side with a thief, but Finn was a straight up asshole, even after I took the blame for their argument during Frostfinger's speech. I don't know why I would tell Jon about the North Grove or what he could do to help, so I didn't think it was important to mention. If I wasn't going to tell the other Foresters, I wasn't going to tell someone at the Wall.
I was glad I could get Elaena to agree to the marriage on her own accord, and I will not have Rodrik give in to the Whitehill family at all.
The song at the end really got me even more invested in the family and story lines (if that was even possible).
Episode 3 was very good, I enjoyed the choices here. The action really picks up here right from the beginning and you can really see where everything is coming to a boil for all of the protagonists. I'm definitely feeling attached to all of the playable characters except for Asher, which may be because he doesn't feel utilized as well as the other three. His role is definitely smaller.
My Choices and other Spoilers
+
-I saved Beskha. I did this because she was directly in the way of a dragon. Was I really going to help a skilled soldier against two guards rather than one against a dragon? The choice was obvious for me. I really enjoyed this scene, I thought it was a great action scene and I found myself holding my breath through it.
-I obeyed Margaery and avoided Tyrion. Mira's quickly becoming the character I care most apart. She has so much to lose and she's isolated away from her family and she's most involved with the diplomacy aspect. She's showing herself to be a worthy player of the game and I'm really enjoying it. This episode is really fucking tough on Mira and I can't wait to see where her story goes.
-I walked away from Britt. I don't really have a lot to say about Gared's story here. Why are Cotter and Finn close friends and bitter rivals every other scene? The writing there confuses me.
-I stood up to Gryff Whitehill. I wanted Rodrick to be defiant to that prick fourthborn son. Fuck him.
-I kept the Ironwood Decree. Maybe I missed something but why was Mira going to burn it in the first place? Didn't she need it to help her family? I'm sad that was a choice because it reveals that nothing Mira does from now on matters for the Forresters.
FIRST OF ALL I really think I'm gonna just play this game over again on the PC before the next episode now. I wanted to give it one last try on the 360 since I already had bought the season pass but there was still a bunch of audio glitches/lag. Not as many as last time but still. Really took me out of it at times. I didn't even hear Daenerys' line at the end since the audio clip never played! (: srsly how hard is it to make a game run smoothly when the environments/graphics are so relatively primitive. It's pretty pathetic. And yet Telltale keeps picking up more and more projects anyway
- I saved my uncle. Mostly because he wasn't stupid enough to try to take on a fucking dragon in close quarters. Really everyone in that cave should've fried
- Avoided Tyrion. This may have been biased by knowing what was about to happen to him (:
- I gave Britt a "quick" death by kicking him off the wall. I wanted to dispose of the body! Plus he had already incited me to violence despite my better judgment and I didn't wanna sink further to his level by making him bleed out
- I laid down like a good little lord. Which is weird because I've been defiant in this game at pretty much every turn besides this one. But Duncan and Gwyn both told me to do it and it seemed like the sensible thing to do. Gryff can win this little battle, but I'll win the war
- Burned the decree. I actually was confused why this WAS even a choice since I thought the whole point of breaking into Tyrion's apartment was to dispose of the evidence of my dealings with him. It sucks but getting into that kind of shit would mean my family's definitely fucked, whereas by burning it I not only destroy a chunk of the mounting evidence against me, but I also have the option of getting back in league with that dude from the wedding
btw the mole on the council seems to clearly be the mother. The only thing that makes me doubt it is it seems almost TOO obvious
Based on the first two episodes, I'd say the obvious bet for the council mole would be the maester. He is shady as fuck.
This was the most intense one yet. Particularly MIra's storyline. It felt like the rug was pulled out from under her as soon as Cersei made that comment about Tyrion.
Also, that scene with Britt. Lol. I tried my best to avoid the fight, but it pissed me off when he attacked regardless, so I made sure to make him suffer. I hope that ain't gonna come back to haunt me!
but I just bought the first 3 episodes of this today and I'm about an hour into the first episode. so far, it looks like it's going to be 35.99 well spent
Choices
- Saved Beskha. Experienced fighter versus two enemies or someone needing help with a dragon. Seemed like a no brainer. On top of that, Beskha is someone who Asher has had a relationship with while the family exiled him. I told Malcolm family will come first when he brought it up later.
- I obeyed Margery and avoided Tyrion. Like Wikey said, it's amazing how much damage Cersei was able to do to Mira's reputation with one comment. I was doing my best to get back into Margery's good graces, but it didn't help much by trying to avoid Tyrion.
- I gave Britt a quick death. I kept trying to avoid fighting him, but there was no way out of it. I ended up kicking him off the wall. There's no long suffering, but I imagined how horrible those few moments falling would be. I also thought it would help to get rid of the body, but Finn saw. It was nice to get some justice for Gared's family.
- Submitted to Gryff Whitehill. Gwyn and Duncan (or was it someone else) told me it would be best to submit for the time being. I agreed, but in the heat of the moment I got so worked up I wanted to stand up to Gryff. Once he threatened Talia if I were to stand up again, I stayed on the ground.
- Kept the Decree. I don't think I've fully processed this choice yet, but I don't see why I wouldn't want to explore a possible background alliance with Morgryn. With Tyrion detained and Margaery very angry with me, I saw no reason to not keep the decree to see what could happen. Morgryn also helped save me from the investigating guard. The decision to burn or keep it really came out of nowhere for me and I was definitely surprised because there was no mention of destroying the decree previously.

Did you strike the Whitehill soldier?
You and 64% decided not to strike the Whitehill soldier.

Thoughts
I had a good chuckle that you just randomly come across the dragon. I took the dead man's gold and then gave it to Croft to try and get him to come with me to Westeros. That entire scene I really thought Croft was going to attack me, I chose to tell him "Fuck You" to see if he would actually castrate me. I ended up showing Malcolm's burns to Croft in order to get him to take me to see Daenarys.
I enjoyed the scene where they bring you past the wall in order to take the black and say your oath. The Cotter storyline is annoying, however. I really don't think it was necessary to have him be a wildling. I guess that's how you will get someone to come along with you to the North Grove, but it seemed silly. I didn't care for the entire scene where Duncan visits you because it should have been a conversation in secret. For something we're trying to keep from everyone, why have a conversation out in the open? I got worked up when Britt showed up but I quickly calmed down because of the vow. Already having to break it for the North Grove, did not give me free reign to just attack Britt. I ended up kicking him off the wall when he just would not let it go and insisted on attacking me.
The meeting with Gwyn really creeped me out before she finally showed up. I kept waiting to walk up to look at one of the items and get attacked. I did like how she was pleased to see I had the dagger with me. I chose to save Ryonn, family first and it really shocked me that the Whitehills already knew. The Maester has to be the mole right? I guess that's really obvious but the other choice would be the mother? Duncan and Royland are always at odds, but they seem very loyal to the family. It took everything in my power to not attack the Whitehill soldiers when I returned to Ironwrath. I really tried to stand up to Gryff because he ended up pissing me off, but I had to cave once he threatened Talia.
Mira's storyline is by far my favorite at the moment. I love the King's Landing / politics of the show, so this doesn't surprise me. My face kind of dropped when Cersei called her out, completely ruining everything in the first two episodes. I'm really intrigued by the potential alliance with Morgryn. I kept the decree to explore this option. I'm so excited to see where this goes in the next episode.
I LOVED Talia's talk with Rodrick that kind of set up the end of the episode. From the music cue to the voiceover showing the other family members. I know we haven't lost any of the playable characters we've had since Ep2, but I really think we might get to play as Talia moving forward. Her comment about being ready to do anything for the family intrigued me. I think it would be fun. I like how it ended with Daenarys. I don't care for her storyline in the show for the last few seasons, but I'm interested to see more of her in the game.
I haven't had any big glitches on the Xbox One, so it must be a 360 issue.
ended up playing the first 3 over again on PC. SO worth it. The loading times only took like a couple seconds each and there was no audio lag at all. Even considering it's a new computer vs an "old" console I was still surprised. I'm really hoping by the time TWD S3 comes out they have a way to transfer your save files over so I don't have to still play that on 360. That's one game that I definitely wouldn't want to redo my choices in
Episode 4 was very good! Things are definitely coming to a head
Episode 4
+
I kept bracing myself for a big death. I thought Beskha would die for sure at a few points, and then obviously the whole Highpoint situation happened (though I'm glad they didn't have one there, would've been way too obvious, except maybe if they killed Ryon). I KNOW they're gonna do another one at some point, they kinda have to. Not that I want it to happen per se, but it'd kinda feel like a cop-out if they didn't with the stakes set so high after Ethan's death. Not to mention the world that the story's set in in general
choices:
- Brought Finn along. I would've done it anyway, but in the moment I just told him to come along because we were taking SO GODDAMN LONG to get out of there, we didn't have time to stop and argue about it. Also it's a minor quibble but there's no way they could've just walked past the wall so easily, they would've had to raise the gate first to pass through which someone definitely would've noticed. But whatever (:
- Showed mercy to Gryff. It was enough for me just to show him who's boss. Killing him would've been dumb with Ryon still being a hostage. I'm surprised the majority did that
- Kept Sera's secret from Tarwick. I was pretty torn on this, but I figured Sera's a more valuable ally long-term. Tarwick's information about the Lannister cousin was really all I needed from him. Plus he's creepy as shit hitting on a handmaiden half his age
- Ordered the Glenmore soldiers to remain at Ironrath. Doesn't look like that ended up too well!
- Stopped Beskha from killing the Slave Master. This is one of those moments where having seen the show kinda affects the moment in a negative way. Because I KNEW that the Slave Master was doomed anyway, so it wasn't worth Beskha violating Dany's command by killing him. But obviously Asher wouldn't have known that
I was so hyped to see Ramsay at the end (...in a way). I thought Gryff had escaped when I first heard the voices coming from the great hall. Poor Talia.
I will say this is one of the few times that the game has kinda stretched credibility with how much the "big players" care about the Forresters. Like all the Margaery/Tyrion/Cersei/Dany stuff has seemed fairly reasonable, but Ramsay making a SECOND trip to Ironrath? ehh. BUT WHATEVER IT WAS COOL!
Mira's story was by far my favorite part of this episode. All the scheming was a lot of fun. And I loved toying with Andros. That little bitch
