I mean blew up the kid is a fun monster movie sort of deal and I think shrunk ourselves was straight to video? Very low budget. Also there was a tv show but I never saw it.

I used to watch Honey I Blew Up the Kid a lot when I was younger!

I think they call this one the Stargate special. But maybe we want to get a more comprehensive list of possible movies first and then see what's the most likely of them. Goonies and Clue seem like good choices of the 13 Mal posted.
