We get to dress up for Halloween at work as long as we wear our nametags and don't cover our faces. I've decided to be Black Widow, because that's the easiest look I can get together.

I think I'll wear the same t-shirt I wore yesterday that's covered in potato chip grease and defeat. I'll carry around a six pack and my resume as a prop.

For Halloween I usually default to a TOS Starfleet Captain, since I have the uniform down and it gives me a reason to carry around the phaser and communicator toys I have. I always take off Halloween, though; work knows that's my annual "holiday" and that my family doesn't give a shit about Xmas and stuff.

Years ago when I did work near Halloween, I came dressed as my default SF Captain. Someone on my floor was already on the elevator, so I just stepped on and said "Deck Seven", then stood facing the door. I didn't know his wife was on at the time, but apparently she still asks if that Captain guy still works here.
