I still think GBG is his best personally. All three are pretty great though
GBG > Argo > The Town | |

I think The Town is slightly overrated. Still good tho. Haven't seen Argo yet but I loved GBG so much

| A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart. |

Between Her, Dallas Buyers Club and 12 years of slave (or whatever is translated to) which one would you pick?
This sunday i should go watch Lego, but I don't know which one after that to see. | I used to travel the universe, but settled for parks.

Sunshine is one of my favorites |
I'd like to throw anyone that complains about the last stretch of the movie into the sun.
Love the soundtrack, love the visuals, everything about it.

I could watch the final LEAP scene over and over. Surface of the Sun playing. So good

I thoroughly enjoyed both Her and 12 Years. I guess it just depends if you're in the mood for a philosophical/romantic movie with some funny elements (Her) or a really dark drama (12 Years)

oops I'm one of those people (:
I didn't hate it as much as some people (and I still thought the very ending was great) but I thought the first half where it was just them vs. the 'elements' was waaay more engrossing. Throwing a in there felt pretty jarring

I just hate that a lot of people let it ruin everything else about the movie for them.
|
And as a slasher fan I think every movie could use a burnt slasher villain dropped in.

FINALLY saw Wolf of Wall Street
|
Just finished now and I thought it was great. MAN does he turn into a monster by the end (: . I mean to be fair he was a shitty person throughout, but at the end when he's punching his wife in the face and in her gut (I thought she was still pregnant at this time and was shocked), then crashes with his kid in the car. Damn!
But yeah I thought it was all very good. Pretty hilarious too. I loved Jordan trying to get to his car at the country club and the storm scene so much. The editing was really funny too. Like when he was making an excuse about Venice and it flashed back to the prostitute, the Swiss banker's inner monologue bouncing off his own, etc. Scenes like those helped make the movie IMO |
