Let's not over-simplify. Sexual assault/harassment is real, in most cases women aren't going to falsely accuse. Just because of one dumb article where someone describes a really bad date but didn't seem to object at the time, doesn't mean this is an epidemic. It's the other way around... but why can't "some of you" also be reasonable and recognize there's an issue instead of just immediately going into either defense-mode or "omg see, all these bitches were lying all along" mode?

And to be fair, I wasn't trying to oversimplify those issues at all. What I was trying to say is this "me too" stuff is becoming a witch hunt (which I basically said it was going to be from the start) where people who haven't done anything wrong are going to get thrown into the same sack with the actual real scumbags like Weinstein and Spacey.

I honestly believe that if anyone rapes, assaults or harasses someone then they should be brought to justice and have to answer for their crimes.

What I am not in favor of is for some guy that had an awkward sexual encounter with a woman to be thought of in the same category with actual scum bag pieces of shit and that's what a lot of people in this movement are trying to do.
