Quality burger meat shouldn't be cooked medium well. You get a hockey puck. It's like making a pattie with "lean" beef- all the flavor is gone.

I've been told this a million times and my friend's dad usually refuses my request when I say medium well but I like what I like! Typically when I order a burger medium well out somewhere it comes back medium rare anyway so it's whatever.

I like fried green tomatoes, but I can taste the chemicals in a lot of the faux flavorings, so I doubt I would like the chips.

Saw something similar online and made it last night. It turned out pretty good.

Swap lemon for lime juice and you wouldn't be far off the real deal.

I forgot FIsh sauce. I used a little of that, too.

I'll try lime juice next time. I just had some lemons on hand, so I used one.

I'll never forget this one time when I was about 14. My water polo team went out to eat at this sports bar after a tournament and my coach's daughter (like 12 at the time) ordered a burger and the waitress said, "How would you like that cooked?" and she replied, "...in a circle...cut in half?"

It was so cute. None of us could stop laughing about that.
