| I, for one, am happy that "I am big, you are small, so you get no say" is not how our country works. But, perhaps that is just me. |
As opposed to DC, who just gets no voice. Or Puerto Rico. Or VI. Guam. Saipan. etc. etc.
It's nice that the 120,000 less people in Wyoming get two votes in the Senate while DC gets a big fat 0 senators. If you are going to push for people getting a voice, I assume you support all of the above folks also getting representation? | | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

You have probably been watching it more closely than I, but I do know the dems have conceded that walls need built in some areas and are OK funding that for now, while the prez and co are all in on not budging.
I dislike the way the dems are using it to make political hay by fighting the wall with dumb, inflammatory soundbites about racism instead of actual reasons and data that suggests the wall is a bad idea. |
It's actually Trump and McConnell who are the big "not-budging". Some Reps are making noise, but enough would support the House plan if McConnell would let it up for a vote. But McTurtle's wife and BIL's jobs are tied to Trump now, so he won't do shit. | | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |
