Aziz Ansari is an unfortunate side effect of the movement and it's horrible that it's undermining the admirable efforts of the real supporters in it. I still support the movement.

Banfield said it best, if she had been assaulted or suffered in the work place, yes speak up. But that's not what happened to this girl. She had a bad date and he definitely sounds unpleasant but it's a separate conversation entirely. He does not deserve to be slandered or his career ruined for being douchey.
