I HATE the phone company in this town. I cancelled them a few years ago because they just flat out refused to take my money. I lost my debit card and had to get a new one, but they kept billing the old one and would not transfer me to the new one. I went back to them when I moved to my new apartment because they're the only decent internet in town and I'm already tired of their shit.
My card got locked for some reason that I'm not sure of, just so happens it was on the day I got auto-billed from them. I went to the office and paid in person. Everything's fine, but then everything shuts off at around 6PM, of course when they're closed. I figure it was some sort of local area interruption so I call their tech support line. I'm apparently their first call of the night. Lady says she has no idea why it's not working and tells me she'll call me back, she never does.
I get woken up a few minutes ago from a phone call and this lady says "Hi Mr. Wolf I'm just returning your call" and a half asleep me had to explain the situation again. Within a minute she goes "Oh hey, you didn't pay your bill so we suspended your service." "I... just... PAID YOU!!!!!" and she's like yeah I see that, but it's going to take an hour to come back on. Why the fuck couldn't anyone figure this out yesterday and why the fuck did they suspend me AFTER I paid them?
It's literally this company or this little mom-and-pop internet service called BEH which has awesome tech support (the dude literally came to my house on Christmas Eve the day I emailed him about something without even having to ask him to) but unfortunately they're shitty satellite internet. |
